NO, It will go off but it is NOT recommended. We recommend only using shells we have designed for our 12ga. perimeter trip alarm devices.
The 12ga. perimeter trip alarm can be used for signaling and/or deterring intruders of all kinds human and animal around your home, farm, garage and campsites.
We sell Popper blanks for signaling, Pepper gas blanks for deterring intruders and Flash bang blanks for signaling as well as deterring and disorientation of the intruder.
Yes, with our 209 and .22 ramset adapters you can use nearly any brand of 209 primers as well as .22 nailgun blank up to level 4
Yes, You can also use most standard 12ga signal flares.
It depends on the load used. Our flash bangs can reach up to 170Db and the poppers come it at around 115Db
Attach the QUAD to any hard/sturdy surface such as panel, tree or post with zip tie using its zip-tie notches or use the pre-drilled holes if you would prefer to use screws.
The QUAD is about 4.5in tall when cocked and weighs in at only 5oz.
Our patented plate system only takes about 7oz of pressure to activate.

22 Ramset micro alarm FAQ's (GEN 1)

The ramset micro alarm is about 4.5in tall when cocked and weighs in at only about 1oz.
The alarm uses a tripwire and pin release system.
It takes about 1.5lb of force to activate the mechanism.
The .22 ramset micro alarm can be used for signaling and/or deterring intruders of all kinds, human and animal around your home, farm, garage and campsites.
The alarm can be used with nearly any brand of .22 nail gun blanks up to level 4..22 nailgun blank up to level 4
It depends on the load used. Level 1 blanks will be around 115Db and level 4 will be around 135Db.

The multi-purpose pin is used to cock the alarm as well as to remove spent blanks after the alarm has been triggered.

The 209 micro alarm can be used for signaling and/or deterring intruders of all kinds, human and animal around your home, farm, garage and campsites.
The alarm uses a tripwire and pin release system.
It takes about 1.5lb of force to activate the mechanism.
The alarm can be used with nearly any brand of 209 shot shell primers. We recommend Winchester 209a.
Most 209 primers will produce a sound of around 115Db.

Reel w/ 85ft of Kevlar line

The reel has a drag nut you can use to loosen and tighten the line.
This can be used as the trip line for any of our perimeter trip wire alarms. As well as a make shift fishing reel in a pinch.
The line is a braided kevlar type of line.
the line is around 40lb test.
Braided line will not stretch like cotton, nylon or mono-filament lines triggering the alarms more effectively.

12ga Blanks

The popper blanks for out 12ga alarms are empty primed shot shells.
pepper gas blanks for our 12ga alarms are filled with pepper powder that covers approximately a 6ft diameter with pepper powder.
our flash bangs for out 12ga alarms produce a blinding white flash with a resounding boom .
Our flash bang blanks create a boom coming in around 170Db.
the pepper gas blank will create a pepper powder plume in a 6ft diameter outward from the top of the blank.
