Using the eye screw, zip ties or any chosen method attach alarm firmly to surface with flash port pointed towards the ground to avoid blanks falling out of position. (place alarm and wire no more than 1ft off the ground)
Use pull ring to cock alarm. Apply outward pressure to firing pin with thumb to hold in place and insert saftey pin and QUAD plate or straight pin depending on your confuguration preference
Unscrew flash port, insert blank and screw the cap back onto the alarm
Attach trip wire to trigger pin and string it across desired area of coverage attaching oposite end to secure surface
Remove saftey pin (**CAUTION ALARM IS NOW LIVE**)
Use pull ring to cock alarm apply outward pressure to firing pin with thumb to hold in place and saftey pin.
Unscrew cap from alarm and insert multi-purpose pin into the small hole on top of the cap to poke out spent blanks if necessary
